Jeanine Pirro says she’s ‘worried’ she’ll lose her job at Fox: ‘Anything I do wrong, they’ll fire me’
Popular Fox News weekend host Jeanine Pirro has been targeted in recent months with advertiser boycotts and pressure campaigns all aimed at getting her fired from the network. And it looks like that pressure is taking a toll on the Justice with Judge Jeanine host.
Pirro was caught on a hot mic Tuesday admitting that Fox had suspended her earlier this year — and the judge even expressed concern that the network could be setting her up to be fired if she stirs up controversy once again.
“They’re unbelievable”
The Washington Examiner reported that Pirro had called in to former White House aide Sebastian Gorka’s radio show on Salem Radio Network, which is also filmed in-studio and aired in its entirety — commercial breaks and all — on YouTube.
Even though Gorka reminded Pirro during a commercial break that the mics were still live for the YouTube broadcast during a commercial break, the judge appeared to knock her own network for the control it exerts over her scheduling — even when it comes to promoting her new book, Radicals, Resistance, and Revenge: The Left’s Plot to Remake America.
“Hey Jeanine, we’re still live, the mics are live for YouTube,” Gorka said. He then gave her a heads-up on the topic of discussion for the next segment before asking Pirro if she had plans for any upcoming promotional events in Washington. If so, he asked her to consider doing another interview with him in-studio.
Pirro replied that Fox controls her schedule, but if she could, she would. Gorka then mentioned how many views his show gets on YouTube, to which Pirro quipped: “Oh good. I love it. I would love it. We’ll see if they let me. You know Fox reviews everything. They’re unbelievable.”
“I’m worried”
Gorka went on to suggest that Pirro’s new book should prompt Fox to “carve out” a “window” for her to do a wider variety of appearances than otherwise would be allowed, but Pirro explained that Fox has strict rules on what programs she can appear on and when.
“Uh, no. They’re still saying, ‘You cannot do Bill O’Reilly, you cannot do Newsmax, you cannot do — oh no,'” Pirro said, according to Business Insider. “You know what, they suspended me — and I’m not gonna get fired — but I’m worried that that suspension was the basis to tee up for anything I do wrong, they’ll fire me.”

Of course, the partisan left would like nothing better than to see Judge Jeanine fired — hence the incessant campaigns waged against her and the businesses that advertise on her program. And unfortunately, it appears from Pirro’s commentary that Fox may be on the verge of buckling under that constant pressure.
Will the network send her packing if she steps out of line again? The Fox host’s legion of fans will have to wait and see.
