Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was caught on a hot mic this week, The Washington Examiner reports — and her remarks have fans shaking in their boots.
The Justice with Judge Jeanine host made comments critical of Fox News in an interview with former White House aide Sebastian Gorka on Tuesday, even going so far as to say she thinks the network may be looking to fire her.
Oops!
Pirro’s remarks came between segments of an interview with Gorka on Salem Radio Network. But despite a warning from her host, Pirro seemed to miss that even during commercial breaks, their discussion was still streaming live on YouTube.
When Gorka said he’d love to have Pirro in the studio for an appearance, she responded frankly: “I would love it. We’ll see if they let me. You know Fox reviews everything. They’re unbelievable.”
Pressed by Gorka, who suggested that Pirro should have some time carved out by Fox for events to promote her newly released book, Radicals, Resistance, and Revenge: The Left’s Plot to Remake America, the judge said her network has her tightly bound.
“No. They’re still saying you cannot do Bill O’Reilly, you cannot do Newsmax, you cannot do — oh no,” she said. “You know what, they suspended me. And I’m not going to get fired,” she added, admitting that she’s “worried that that suspension was the basis to tee up for anything I do wrong, they’ll fire me.”

“Keep doing what you do”
Pirro’s comments referenced an incident that occurred in March, when the judge’s show was taken off air for two consecutive weeks after she inquired in one of her opening monologues whether Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) adherence to Islamic principles might be “antithetical to the United States Constitution.”
“We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” the network said at the time, according to The Washington Post. “They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”
After Pirro let the cat out of the bag on Tuesday, Gorka told the judge: “Keep doing what you do.” And that is exactly how Pirro should approach the situation.
If Fox were to fire her, there would no doubt be plenty of other opportunities for her just around the corner.
