Judicial Watch: FBI says Hillary Clinton meeting notes are ‘missing,’ ‘damaged’

Newly-released FBI documents provide disturbing evidence of the FBI’s failure to retain notes from a critical August 2015 meeting about former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s email server with the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

This failure only serves to bolster the suspicions of many conservatives who feel that Obama’s anti-Trump Justice Department let Clinton off the hook far too easily.

Fresh Investigation Needed, Fitton Says

“Obama FBI was frantic to target @RealDonaldTrump while magically losing or destroying important evidence in sham investigation of Hillary Clinton. This new information underscores the need for a fresh, unbiased investigation into the Clinton email scandal,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton commented on the report.

Notes about the meeting were “missing,” the FBI claimed. A CD containing the notes was said to be “cracked,” and attempts to copy its information failed.

Instead of the documents that had been requested from the August 2015 meeting, electronic documents from February 2019 detailing the missing and damaged records were released. Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog organization which is tirelessly working to uncover the truth about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, released a new report on Friday detailing the FBI documents, which were obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests.

This is the 32nd release of documents requested by Judicial Watch in the lawsuit. A previous release revealed that FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok admitted that at least four interview reports, known as FD-302s, had never been written after interviews were conducted.

Negligence or Cover-up?

Each new release of information seems to provide further evidence suggesting that a cover-up either did or is currently taking place to protect former secretary of state and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

It has been well-established through statements of insiders like aide Huma Abedin that Clinton had a private email server and used an email address other than her official one to send official correspondence. Whether classified data was sent with a private email server or personal email address seems to be the question.

The glaring gaps in reports from the time period being investigated cannot be a coincidence at this point. Whatever Clinton may be trying to hide, she had help from FBI officials, maybe even then-FBI director James Comey himself.

We may never know what really happened, or who knew about what really happened. Clinton and her then-allies in the FBI could have easily made sure that her actions were covered up by not filing reports and “losing” the ones that were filed.

Will Hillary be held accountable?

It’s terrifying that Hillary Clinton was just a few electoral college votes away from being president of the United States and leader of the free world. And thanks to organizations like Judicial Watch, we know that someone is at least working to uncover the truth.

But in the end, if Clinton is never prosecuted for any crime, it will have to be enough that Donald Trump defied all odds and denied her the presidency.
