Democrats vying for the White House ahead of 2020 are eating each other alive in a “clown show” primary, Fox host Jeanine Pirro said Saturday.
“If you thought there was a lot of infighting in the Republican Party when Donald J. Trump ran in the 2016 presidential primary against 16 other candidates — sit back, strap in, and grab your popcorn,” Judge Jeanine said. “The Democrat primary promises to be an all-out, bare-knuckle, beatdown clown show.”
Keeping up with The Donald
Almost four years after Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders in what many said was a rigged primary, the Democrats still have no clear message, Pirro asserted in her opening statement on her self-titled Fox News show on Saturday. Hating Trump is the only thing they agree on, she said; besides that, the Democrats are tearing each other to shreds in a “frenzied” push to the far left.
“What we do know is [the Dems] still hate President Trump now more than ever. Every other message is frenetic, frenzied, and hysterical. Every message is a bit more left, a bit more progressive, a bit more socialist than the last one,” Pirro said. “They keep going so far left, I’m waiting for them to fall off the edge of the Earth. But then again the Earth is round, unless they upended that truth, too.”
Pirro contrasted the Democrats’ extremism and discord with the strength and enthusiasm behind President Trump’s campaign. Many rallygoers camped out before Trump’s kick off rally in Orlando, Florida last week, which attracted a full stadium of 20,000.
Trump also raised a record-smashing $25 million within 24 hours of his campaign kickoff, overshadowing comparatively feeble fundraising by his Democratic contenders.
“The man can draw a crowd, create enthusiasm, bring back patriotism, and make people proud of America,” Pirro said. “This kind of enthusiasm has never been matched in American history.”
Not backing down
Pirro went on to allude to poll numbers from last week that showed Trump trailing Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden, saying that she doesn’t care “what poll, what network, what statistical genius tells you who’s ahead and who isn’t.”
“There is a chord that [Trump] strikes in the American heart. The American dream that the left can’t destroy, ravage, and obliterate, no matter how hard they try,” the judge said. “So, as he stays strong and laser-focused on his strengths and the rocketing economy with opportunity for all Americans to be part of the American dream, the Democrat clown car overloaded with 23 candidates bumbles down the path to nowhere.”
She went on to liken Democrats to cannibals, “their plan not so much to promote themselves as it is to eat each other alive.”

“Creepy Joe” caught in crossfire
Turning from Trump back to the Democrats, Pirro then went into an extended roast of “Creepy Joe” Biden, who has enough problems without his own party ganging up on him, Pirro said. Still, the Democrats have attacked Biden with increasing ferocity in recent weeks for his continued support of the pro-life Hyde Amendment, which he abruptly abandoned under criticism, and his comments on “getting things done” with senators who supported segregation.
Indeed, while Trump got off to a strong start in Orlando, last week marked a particularly vicious point for the “cannibals” in the Democratic Party. Pirro played clips of Sens. Kamala Harris (CA) and Cory Booker (NJ), who are black, criticizing Biden for his comments on working with segregationists. (Biden doubled down on his comments after a request from an apology from Booker and called on Booker to apologize instead.)
Pirro also pointed to the conflict-of-interest scandals involving Biden’s son Hunter, noting that Vice President Biden threatened to withhold a billion-dollar loan from the president of Ukraine if he did not fire a prosecutor who was investigating an energy company that Hunter worked for. According to Pirro, this country “doesn’t need” a president who would threaten to “withhold government money to end an investigation involving a company where a family member is working.”
“I suspect the clown car will be dumping Creepy Joe [Biden] off as the clowns continue to fight each other,” Pirro said, “but in the end, it won’t matter, because Trump’s in a Lamborghini.”
