MSNBC’s “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen is in some hot water after allegedly writing some bad checks.
From Daily Caller:
According to a TMZ report Wednesday, Hanson was arrested in Stamford, Connecticut, Monday after allegedly bouncing several checks after purchasing around $13,000 of merchandise from a “mom-and-pop shop.” He was released after turning himself in and being booked.
I think it’s fair to say that we’re all hoping the local police asked him to take a seat right over there when he turned himself in.
The irony of this situation is almost too much to handle. The man made a career out of catching criminals breaking the law, and now he finds himself allegedly on the wrong side of the tracks.
Granted, there’s a big difference between being a pedophile and writing a bad check. They’re not even a little bit similar, other than they’re both illegal.
What an embarrassing fall from grace for a man that was, once upon a time, a guardian for this great country.
