Hoping to send the state’s gubernatorial election into a runoff, Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams filed suit in a federal court on Sunday. In her suit, Abrams is attempting to stop Georgia election officials from tossing out more than a thousand absentee and provisional ballots.
