Projections by CNBC, Fox News and ABC News on the night of 2018 midterms suggest that Democrats will take control of the House. Their report states that the Democratic Party had secured at least 17 seats in the House and could claim up to 33 which is more than the 23 they need to hold the majority. This is likely due to numerous Democratic victories in key congressional races, but final results will be made once polls close on the East coast and the official vote count is released.
