CNN and Jim Acosta, the chief White House correspondent for the network, have filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump, chief of staff John Kelly, press secretary Sarah Sanders, and the United States Secret Service in regards to Acosta losing his press credentials. CNN has also demanded that Acosta’s press credentials be returned. VOTER POLL: Do you think CNN’s Jim Acosta Be BANNED From The White House Press Pool? A press release by CNN stated, “The wrongful revocation of these credentials violates CNN and Acosta’s First Amendment rights of freedom of the press, and their Fifth Amendment rights to due process.”
