After going full 'choir boy' on Fox, Kavanaugh now admitting he wasn't perfect in prepared testimony

The suspect “choir boy” image that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sought to present in his Fox News interview this week has now been so thoroughly debunked that he appears to be trying to walk it back in his prepared testimony for the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.

Kavanaugh reportedly now admits he was “not perfect” and sometimes “had too many” beers in high school.

“In retrospect, I said and did things in high school that make me cringe now,” he said.

That is clearly an understatement based on what many, many Georgetown Prep and Yale classmates have now stated on the record about the heavy drinking habits of Kavanaugh and his circle of friends, to say nothing of sexual assault and their attitude toward women.

But, my oh my, what a difference between sworn testimony and his softball interview with Fox News, where Kavanaugh said his days were filled with sports, academic pursuits, and “service projects.”
