Parklands Students Wanted Safety, But They’re Losing Their Minds Over What The School Is Making Them Do Now!

Now that the Parkland students are dealing with new security measures at school, they apparently aren’t happy about the infringement on their rights to privacy.

From Daily Wire:

On Monday, new security measures went into effect at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as students returned from spring break, and, to put it mildly, they were not happy.

Students are now only allowed to wear clear backpacks and must wear ID badges at all times. The school district is currently debating whether to install metal detectors and implement the use of wands, NBC News reports.

Many of the students who have embraced gun control activism have expressed outrage over the new security measures, insisting that they are either not helpful or infringe on their constitutional rights, comments that haven’t gone unnoticed by Second Amendment advocates. Several of the students describe the school as now feeling like a “prison.”

Many of The students are all for limiting the rights of law abiding gun owners, infringing on their God given right to protect their families, but once the usurpation of rights is extended to them, they change their tune.  This is precisely why we have age limits on voting and public service.  Humans are not born wise, it takes trial and error, life experience to learn how the world works.  Perhaps this is why is has been said ‘if you are young and conservative you have not heart but if you are old and liberal you have no brain.’

A father of a victim of Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz wasn’t happy about the “March for Our Lives” rallies. He explained that the organizers didn’t care about the families of the victims at all. They excluded him and his son from speaking at one of their events because they do not support the anti-gun movement.

Meadow Pollack lost her life on February 14, when Nikolas Cruz walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began to open fire. The Sun-Sentinel reported that organizers wold not let her own brother, Hunter Pollack, talk at the Washington D.C. rally.

Andrew Pollack, the father of both Hunter and Meadow, explained, “My son got denied to speak at the march, so I’m going to a lacrosse game,” Andrew Pollack said in a recent video posted to Facebook on the morning of the march. “I guess he’s got a different agenda than their agenda.”

“They don’t really care about the victims’ families,” Hunter went on. “I don’t know what this is about but it’s definitely not about mourning individuals.”

Do you think making the kids wear clear backpacks is a “violation of privacy?”
