Trump has received recent criticism that he is beginning a trade war. This has come after Trump proposed a tariff on imported steel and aluminum. Trump stated that the reason for this proposal was to put American businesses and workers first, noting that being taxed by foreign countries and yet not recipricating that tax was no longer fair or acceptable to American industries.
