Former President George W. Bush should probably note the old adage, “don’t spit in the wind.”
While he has taken some shots at President Donald Trump, remarks by the former president about the chaos in the current administration seem actually self-defeating.
A Republican source close to the Trump administration reportedly told National Journal that Bush thinks Trump’s White House makes his own administration look “pretty good” by comparison.
“Bush is often heard to remark, unable to stifle his trademark smirk: ‘Sorta makes me look pretty good, doesn’t it?’ ” National Journal reported.
“He’s shaking his head like everyone else wondering why they can’t get their act together,” the source said. “He wants the guy to succeed but thinks a lot of his problems are self-inflicted.”

The 43rd president, who remained silent during eight years under former President Obama, has not openly criticized Trump by name, but has nevertheless made it clear he was never on board the Trump train. Even his father, former President George H.W. Bush, revealed sentiments the family apparently shares.
“I don’t like him. I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader,” the elder Bush said in a book published last year.
But the younger Bush seems to miss the obvious in throwing shade at the current administration.
In your dreams. Your last two years was as bad as Obama’s 8. You went extreme
RINO. I’ll never vote for a Bush again.— Vanderfk (@vanderfk) March 6, 2018
Nothing will ever make your eight years look “pretty good.” Let’s just settle for less bad.

Bush 43 remained quiet during Obama’s administration. Now he chooses to criticize the President from his own party. I am sorry that I voted for Bush 43.

Interesting how George W. Bush never said that about Obama.

GW should best keep quiet. He is the reason we had to suffer 8 years of barry. So, in a way, GW is responsible for the near destruction of this great nation. DJT is MAGA.

Actually no he doesn’t. Starting to make me wonder the the hell you did during your terms.

Nah, Trump shines so bright you’re practically invisible in his shadow.
