Cowardly Democrats Meet With Psychiatrist To Cry About ‘Trump’s Aggressiveness’ And Discuss His Mental Health
President Trump’s brazen and unconventional style has Democrats quivering on the edge of their seats with fear and anticipation.
More than a dozen lawmakers met with a Yale University psychiatry professor last month to discuss the mental health of the Commander-in-Chief, Politico reported.
Dr. Bandy X. Lee was invited to brief the lawmakers after she had issued a warning that President Trump was showing “signs” that he was “going to unravel.”
The lawmakers in attendance were all Democrats except for one unidentified Republican senator who Lee refused to disclose to Politico.
The President’s tweets seem to be at the core of concern.
“We feel that the rush of tweeting is an indication of his falling apart under stress,” Lee told Politico.
“Trump is going to get worse and will become uncontainable with the pressures of the presidency.”
Lee’s got stake in the mental demise of President Trump with a book she edited called, “The Dangerous case of Donald Trump.” The book contains testimonials from 27 psychiatrists about Trump’s “dangerous” mental status, and was apparently read by many of the lawmakers who attended last month’s meeting.
Lee confirmed to Politico that they are mortified.
“One senator said that it was the meeting he most looked forward to in 11 years,” Lee told Politico. “Their level of concern about the president’s dangerousness was surprisingly high.”
It’s not clear who is leading the charge in a campaign to paint Trump as mentally unfit, but fervent anti-Trump Dem. Rep. Ted Lieu has been going at it for a while.
In February 2017, Lieu got the ball rolling with a bill that would require Trump to see a psychiatrist.
Last 24 hrs on Twitter, @realDonaldTrump went on rant about “death & destruction,” “FAKE NEWS,” & “evil.” Should he get mental health exam?

We are investigating.

Liberals are desperate to impeach Trump and it’s been a rallying cry since the 45th President took the Oval Office.
Democrats have been looking to the 25th Amendment, which allows for the removal of the president from office if the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet deem him physically or mentally “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” Politico reported.
Unfortunately for Dems, it doesn’t appear VP Mike Pence is going to turn on President Trump any time soon. And after a very nasty feud with former Trump strategist Steve Bannon, Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell seems very content with the President.
Trump’s recent “my nuclear button is bigger than yours” tweet to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, however, has certainly given this group of pearl-clutchers something more to chew on.
